We could not be more excited to announce that we have been recognized by Salon Today as a Top 200 Salon again this year!
2018 was a whirlwind of a year for our team here at Be Inspired—from our transition into our new location to our exponential growth—we’re just so grateful for everything that this year has given us.
We’re so happy to share that we have received honors in four Salon Today Top 200 categories, including Growth, Employee Education, Retention and Referral, and Technology.
GROWTH
We are incredibly proud to say that 2018 was a year of massive growth for all of us here at Be Inspired Salon, both in reference to growing our physical space—as we transitioned into our brand new, bigger and better location this past July—and in growing our clientele in order to fill all of those shiny, new salon chairs.
Over the past few years we’ve been steadily growing our team and filling the books, and it wasn’t until this last year that we finally grew tired of rubbing elbows with one another, which prompted our search for a bigger location. This past summer, we transitioned from a 1,200 square-foot space into our brand new 2,500 square-foot, fully furnished salon. This expansion was much needed, and our team is so excited to continue the fun in our beautiful new home.
Our front desk team is also incredibly committed to spreading the word and welcoming new guests into our wonderful salon. We have them to thank for their dedication in growing our clientele and really pushing the envelope when it comes to promoting add-on services, gift cards, and steadily converting calls into clients.
We’re so excited to welcome everyone into our new space and to continue to grow together as one big family!
EMPLOYEE EDUCATION
We also made the list in Employee Education! We’re so proud of our amazing and knowledgeable group of stylists for their enthusiasm for the craft and their ever-growing aspirations.
At Be Inspired Salon we know that in order to stay ahead of the game we have to continue to push ourselves beyond our limits, and the best way to stay fresh in this industry is to keep chasing the latest trends and techniques. Not to mention, as a DevaCurl salon we require all of our stylists to be DevaCurl certified to ensure that our curly girls are getting the best haircut no matter which level of stylist they choose.
Our stylists are always excited to continue their education. Many of our girls have already booked their trips to NYC for this years’ best training courses—it’s only up from here!
RETENTION AND REFERRAL
Here at Be Inspired Salon we like to keep our clients coming back, and Salon Today recognizes our efforts when it comes to both Retention and Referrals.
Our referral program encourages our guests to refer us to friends and family, and if those referrals make appointments with us, both parties earn reward—it’s a win-win! We want everyone to know that they’re welcome and wanted, which is why we go above and beyond in order to win over our guests each and every time they step foot in our salon.
We’re so incredibly thankful for the wonderful word-of-mouth advertising we receive from our fabulous clients, so this one goes out to all of you! Thanks for spreading a good word, you are the reason we do what we do—and we couldn’t do it without you.
TECHNOLOGY
Last but never least, we took home a win in the technology category! At Be Inspired Salon we know how important it is to stay with the times, and to make the customer experience both easy and totally accessible.
We’re very proud to be a Meet Your Stylist salon. If you aren’t familiar, Meet Your Stylist is a smart, match-making survey that lives on our salon website. This survey goes beyond technical services to include personality metrics and lifestyle preferences in order to match our clients with their dream stylist the first time. We definitely have Meet Your Stylist to thank for this win, and we’re so grateful for all of the wonderful MYS matches that have blossomed into lifelong relationships between our fabulous clients and their favorite stylists here at Be Inspired Salon.
We strive to make the transition from our digital platforms to time spent in the chair as seamless as possible. So, whether It be our online scheduling system, or our Meet Your Stylist match-making survey, we stay on top of the hot technological trends in order to cater to our on-the-go clientele, because we know that scheduling a haircut should never be a hassle.
So, that’s a wrap 2018! Thank you so much for everything you have given us, and we can’t wait to see you all back in our chairs for another great year.
