First, some background information. At Be Inspired Salon, we use Goldwell hair color products because they offer SO MANY color options for our clients. Our clients love the color variety and our Stylists love the quality. Now, Goldwell has introduced a new product that will help our Stylists create your dream color while protecting your hair!
When scrolling through Instagram, you may see some of your favorite celebrity hair stylists tagging a brand called Olaplex. Some of these hair pictures are so stunning that you may think Olaplex is the magical missing ingredient that will make all your hair dreams come true. However, Be Inspired Salon has consistently chosen not to use Olaplex because when they first launched, they didn’t release their ingredients. We didn’t want to expose our stylists or clients to potentially toxic preservatives. Also, Olaplex wasn’t guaranteed to work with our hair color line. Goldwell is developed in Germany, and they have different standards for their products prior to releasing them globally. But, don’t let these reasons dampen your spirits because our new Goldwell BondPro+ is even better!
So, what is all the buzz about? When hair stylists color your hair—especially if you are changing to a lighter color—we are actually breaking down the bonds in your individual hair strands. Because of this chemical process, your hair endures some damage. This is where BondPro+ comes to your rescue!
BondPro+ is a two-step process that includes a Protection Serum and a Nourishing Fortifier. In Step 1, we will mix the Protection Serum with your custom color. The Protection Serum penetrates your hair fiber to keep some of your bonds intact and prevent breakage. In Step 2, we will apply the Nourishing Fortifier which is a rich, intensive treatment to actually reinforce the bonds in your hair. This two-step process leaves your hair fibers strengthened and deeply nourished.
The bottom line. BondPro+ is specifically formulated to work with our current Goldwell hair color products to leave you with hair that looks and feels significantly healthier! You will leave the salon with both your dream color and deeply nourished hair!
