We love our clients. Whether their hair is curly or straight, long or short, fun-colored or natural, we know each and every one of our clients is one of a kind. So, we decided to show some of them off in a brand-new blog series!
Kelsey Hudson is the first of our clients to feature in our blog. Her down-to-earth, easygoing personality is a great complement to Victoria’s warm, vibrant energy – both in the salon and out at some of their favorite local hangs!
Why Be Inspired Salon?
I followed my stylist Victoria when she came from Texture Salon!
What do you love about Victoria?
I love Victoria because she’s my friend outside of the salon as well, but as a stylist, I love how bubbly she is. She’s always looking for a way to tweak my color so it looks fresh and a little bit different each time. I know I can trust her with my hair.
What’s your usual service?
Color and a cut. I’ve been getting a shade of deep burgundy for years now, but every now and then Victoria and I like to add different tones or brighten it up a little.
What are you passionate about?
I’m a librarian, so I love books. I’ll read just about anything, but my favorite genre has to be the whole fantasy-teen-romance category. I’m a big Harry Potter fan, but I have to say my favorite book of all time is Persuasion by Jane Austen. Most people know Pride and Prejudice, but I think it’s a little bit overrated.
What hobbies do you have outside of reading?
Other than reading, I love to weight-lift and play video games. I’m also vegan, and Victoria and I are always going out to find some good vegan food!
Where are your favorite local places to hang out and why?
You can find me at Barriques, any coffee shop, and Barnes and Noble. Locally, I love the bookstores Mystery to Me and Room of One’s Own, which has an entire room dedicated to fantasy books – it’s amazing!
Who inspires you?
That’s a tough one! I would say Ellen DeGeneres. She’s a vegan too, and she’s funny, kind, and compassionate. I just want to be her friend – everyone does!
