IT’S ALL ABOUT INCREASING YOUR VITAMIN D
It could be the change of seasons. In the fall and winter months our exposure to vitamin D is limited because we spend less time in the sun.
It’s normal to lose anywhere from 100-250 strands per day, but during this time shedding can increase! To prevent this, you can add vitamin D back into your daily routine through supplements! This will also boost your immune system, a bonus during cold and flu season!
LET’S UP YOUR HYDRATION
It could be time for a product switch! During this time of year, the humidity levels are much lower and the air is dry, which causes dryness in our curls as well!
In the dry, cold months it’s important to up the moisture in our everyday hair care routines. Taylor recommends adding a heavy cream or deep conditioner for extra hydration.
