Our Advice to Maximize Your Wedding Day Experience.

Talk with the bride
We understand that the bride may have a vision for her wedding party’s hair, however there could be a problem with that. Which is, not all hairstyles will compliment all bridesmaids. Meaning, one picture won’t fit all participants because everyone will see a professional with their own creative, and every participant’s hair type is unique.
Prepare in Advance
First, start moisturizing your skin, and drink plenty of water at least one month before the wedding. Your makeup will look as amazing as your skin is hydrated. Trust us…
One week prior to the wedding day, please consider shaping your brows. At Be Inspired Salon we have waxing options that will suit regular waxers as well as those with sensitive skin. This again is so your makeup will reflect appropriately, especially for photography. What happens if the brows are unkempt? We have to fill in your brows with a shape within a shape. Does this make sense? It just doesn’t reflect as flawlessly as it would if your brows were flawlessly shaped. Again, trust us…
The day before the wedding, we’d like to encourage you to come in and receive a blowout style. If your hair is properly cleansed and the right products for your hair type are used for the blowout, there are two outcomes that will take place. First, your hair will cooperate with the Stylist with greater ease. And second, your style will last much longer than if your hair is too clean or improperly prepped. Did we mention you should trust us? Ha! For real though, we have your back.
The Big Day
There are five asks we have for you on the day of the wedding. First, and this is a big one…please be on time. There isn’t anything more stressful for a bride than running behind. We’ve been there! We have a solid plan for your timeframe and it’s imperative for our Stylists to utilize that time to your advantage.
Second, please arrive with dry hair (see pre-day blowout recommendation above) and moisturized skin (see prepare in advance section above). This is so our professionals can start setting your hair instead of taking time to dry your hair which will eat away at styling and finishing time.
Third, you’ll want to remove your eye makeup. Ladies, this includes your mascara in its entirety. It’s super challenging to apply mascara over the top of last night’s mascara. And trying to add faux lashes on top? Not easy…
Fourth, please bring a picture of your ideas! Before you choose your picture, ask yourself if the picture is realistic for your hair texture and length. If you’re looking for awesome options, check us out on Facebook and Pinterest!
